What we collect when you use this site, why we collect it, how long we keep it and how to make us delete it.
This policy covers shift4pay.co.uk. It is written to describe what this site actually does rather than to cover every possibility, so if something is not listed here, we are not doing it.
By using this site you accept this policy. If you do not, the honest answer is not to send us the form.
Effective from 27 August 2026.
Shift4Pay is a trading name of EMENU LIMITED, a private limited company registered in England and Wales.
Company number 12436135. Registered office: 76 Hansol Road, Bexleyheath, Kent, England, DA6 8JG.
EMENU LIMITED is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. That means we decide what is collected and what happens to it, and we are the ones you hold responsible.
For anything in this policy, email Sales@emenunow.com.
The quote form asks for your name, your business name, your mobile number, your email address, your venue type and your monthly card turnover.
Turnover and venue type are there for one reason. A card processing rate cannot be worked out without them, and we would rather ask than guess.
If you email us instead, we hold whatever you put in the email.
If you accept analytics and advertising cookies, we and Google collect standard usage data: the pages you looked at, roughly where you are, what device you used, and which advert or link brought you here.
If you decline, none of that is collected. The site still works.
Our host records server logs, including IP addresses, as every web server does.
If you click one of our Google adverts, Google tells us which campaign and keyword brought you, but not who you are.
That is the entire list. We do not buy contact lists, we do not enrich your record from data brokers, and we do not scrape anything.
We do not take card details on this website. We do not ask for anything about your own customers. We do not ask for anything about your staff.
To quote you and to reply to your enquiry. Lawful basis: legitimate interests, specifically answering a business enquiry you chose to send us.
To keep a record of what we quoted and to whom. Lawful basis: legitimate interests, and where an agreement follows, performance of that agreement.
To measure which pages and which adverts produce enquiries. Lawful basis: your consent, given through the cookie banner, and you can withdraw it at any time.
To meet our own legal and tax obligations. Lawful basis: legal obligation.
We do not use your data to make automated decisions about you, and we do not profile you.
Three processors, and nobody else.
Our CRM. Every form on this site submits into HubSpot and your details are stored there.
Google Analytics 4 for site usage and Google Ads conversion tracking, so we can see which adverts produce enquiries.
This site is built and hosted on Webflow, which means Webflow processes server logs including IP addresses.
Each of them acts on our instructions under a written data processing agreement.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. We do not pass it to Shift4 unless you ask us to open an account, and if that happens we will tell you at the time rather than afterwards.
We will disclose data if the law requires it, and if we are ever bought or merged, your data goes with the business. Those are the only two exceptions.
HubSpot, Google and Webflow are all US companies, so your data may be processed outside the UK.
HubSpot relies on the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, with Standard Contractual Clauses as a fallback.
Google relies on the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for its advertising and analytics products, and on Standard Contractual Clauses where the framework does not apply.
Webflow relies on the Data Privacy Framework where its certification covers the transfer, and on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement where it does not.
Enquiries that do not become customers: 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted.
Enquiries that become customers: for the life of the account and 6 years after it closes, which is the period HMRC requires business records to be kept.
Analytics data is held in Google Analytics and deleted automatically at the end of the retention period set on that account.
Cookies expire on their own. The durations are in the table below.
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:
Email Sales@emenunow.com and say which one you want. We will reply within one month, which is the deadline the law sets. We will not charge you and we will not ask why.
Nothing that tracks you loads until you accept it. The banner appears before any analytics or advertising cookie is set, and if you decline, none of the cookies in the analytics or advertising rows below are created.
Analytics cookies are not set until you accept them. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
This is a website that sells business technology to licensed and food trading premises. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything about anyone under 18. If you think we have, email us and we will delete it.
This site links out to Shift4, to YouTube for the customer films, and to a handful of public sources such as HMRC. Once you follow a link you are on somebody else's site under somebody else's policy, and we have no control over what they collect.
We update this page when what we do changes. The effective date at the top tells you which version you are reading. If we change something material we will say so on the page rather than quietly swapping the text.
Tell us first and we will try to put it right. Email Sales@emenunow.com.
If you are still unhappy you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, which regulates this in the UK, at ico.org.uk. You do not need our permission and it does not cost you anything.
If anything in this policy is unclear, or does not match what you have experienced on this site, tell us and we will explain it or correct it.
Email Sales@emenunow.com and we will come back to you.
